Guido Tonelli

Guido Tonelli is an Italian experimental physicist and author of popular science books. He worked as a physicist at CERN in Geneva and was a professor at the University of Pisa. In a leading role, he was involved in the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012. Tonelli has published several successful nonfiction books in Italy; his works in German include “Genesis: The History of the Universe in Seven Days” (2020).
