Guido Maria Kretschmer

Guido Maria Kretschmer, born in 1965 in Münster, is a German fashion designer, author, and television presenter. He founded his first company in 1989 and became known as a corporate fashion designer. In 2004, he added a second line, Guido Maria Kretschmer Couture. He also worked as a costume designer for opera, theater, and film productions. From 2012 onward, he hosted the television program “Shopping Queen” and served as a judge on “Das Supertalent.” Kretschmer received, among other honors, the Golden Camera, the German Television Award, and the Austrian television award Romy. As an author, he published two style guides and the 2018 novel “Das rote Kleid.”
