Guido Lange

Guido Lange (born 1963) was born in Salzwedel in the Altmark region of Germany. He worked as a sales specialist for special-interest magazines and founded Ampel Publishing. His books draw on journeys through Europe undertaken on foot or by bicycle. In 2017, he documented a journey through the Baltic region in a blog comprising 107 stories in 107 days; it became his first book, “Abenteuer Baltikum.” This was followed by “Abenteuer Transkaukasien,” “Abenteuer Atlantik – 4000 km entlang der Westküste Europas,” “Abenteuer Island – Auf zwei Rädern rund um die Insel aus Feuer und Eis,” and “Abenteuer Skandinavien.” His personal interests include running, juggling, and the study of bells.
