Guido Eckert (born 1964) worked as a writer for publications including Vanity Fair, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Zeit-Magazin. He wrote reportage, novels and short stories. His nonfiction books include “Zickensklaven. Wenn Männer zu sehr lieben” (Solibro). Eckert received the Axel Springer Award for Young Journalists in 1991, the Theodor Wolff Prize for literary journalism in 1997, and the North Rhine-Westphalia State Advancement Award for Literature in 1998.
