Guido Barbujani, born in 1955 in Adria, is an Italian population geneticist, evolutionary biologist and author. His academic career included work at the State University of New York and at universities in Padua and Bologna. From 1996, he held a position at the University of Ferrara. Barbujani has published several popular science books; his works published in German include »Die Erfindung der Rassen. Wissenschaft gegen Rassismus« (2021).
