Greg

Greg, whose real name was Michel Régnier, was born in 1931 in Ixelles, Belgium. He worked as a comic artist and writer, using the name Greg predominantly from the 1950s onward. His best-known works include “Achille Talon,” “Bernard Prince,” “Luc Orient,” “Bruno Brazil,” and “Comanche.” From 1966 to 1974, he served as editor-in-chief of the magazine “Tintin.” He also wrote for film and television, including the screenplay and dialogue for the 1972 feature film “Tintin and the Lake of Sharks,” and later published crime novels. From 1987, he wrote new Marsupilami adventures, and in 1991 created “Colby” with Michel Blanc-Dumont.
