Graeme Macrae Burnet, born in 1967 in Kilmarnock, Scotland, is a Scottish writer. He studied English literature in Glasgow. His debut novel, The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau, received the Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award in 2013. His second novel, His Bloody Project, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2016. Burnet’s books have been translated into more than twenty languages.
