Gordon Tyrie

Gordon Tyrie is the pseudonym of author Thomas Kastura, who was born in Bamberg in 1966. Kastura studied German and history and worked as an author for Bayerischer Rundfunk. He writes crime novels and short stories and is a recipient of the Glauser Prize. Works published under the name Gordon Tyrie include The Fourth Murder, The Dark Legacy, The Secret Child and Dark House, as well as the Hebrides-set series comprising Death Current, Scottish Death and Scottish Conspiracy. Scotland is one of his central literary themes.
