Golo Mann

Golo Mann (1909–1994) was a German historian and political essayist. He was best known for his „Deutsche Geschichte des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts“ (1958) and his biography „Wallenstein“ (1971). His other notable works include the autobiography „Erinnerungen und Gedanken“. After his death, stories, family portraits, and essays from his papers were published under the title „Man muss über sich selbst schreiben“.
