Giles Blunt

Giles Blunt, born in 1952 in Windsor, Ontario, grew up in North Bay and studied English literature at the University of Toronto. He worked as a writer, poet and screenwriter, including on the television series “Law & Order.” Before establishing himself as a writer, he held various jobs in New York, including street worker, court attendant and bartender. Blunt became known internationally for his John Cardinal thriller series. He received a Dagger from the British Crime Writers’ Association for the first novel in the series.
