Gesine Schulz

Gesine Schulz was born in Lower Saxony and grew up in the Ruhr region. She worked as a librarian and spent more than ten years abroad, including periods in Ireland and South America. She later became known as a freelance writer. Her works include the novel *Eine Tüte grüner Wind*, which is set in Ireland. Alongside her work in libraries, she spent time as a hotel breakfast cook, opened a second-hand shop by the sea, and took part in archaeological excavations.
