Geshe Michael Roach

Geshe Michael Roach is a Western Buddhist teacher and author. After more than twenty years of studying yoga and Indian and Tibetan philosophy, he passed the traditional Geshe examination at the Tibetan monastery of Sera Mey, receiving the title “Geshe,” or master of Buddhism. He translated more than thirty early texts and authored, among other books, The Diamond Cutter and The Tibetan Yoga of the Heart.
