Gert Jonke

Gert Jonke (1946–2009) was a writer from Klagenfurt. From 1966, he studied German literature, history, philosophy and musicology. After extended travels and periods abroad, he worked as a freelance writer from 1978 onward. His work included poetry, novels, radio plays and dramas, and received several awards.
