Gernot Gricksch

Gernot Gricksch (born 1964) is a German author who worked as a columnist and film critic and wrote novels, nonfiction, and screenplays. His notable novels include “Die denkwürdige Geschichte der Kirschkernspuckerbande,” “Freilaufende Männer,” and “Robert Zimmermann wundert sich über die Liebe.” In 2006, “Robert Zimmermann wundert sich über die Liebe” received the DeLiA literary award for best romance novel of the year. Gricksch’s own screenplay adaptation was awarded the North German Film Award and the Bavarian Film Award. “Das Leben ist nichts für Feiglinge” was adapted for film in 2012, starring Wotan Wilke Möhring.
