Gerhard Wisnewski

Gerhard Wisnewski (born 1959) studied political science in Munich. From 1986 onward, he worked as a journalist, writer, and documentary filmmaker. He became known in part as co-author, with Landgraeber and Sieker, of the book “Das RAF-Phantom.” The television film “Das Phantom,” based on the book, received the Grimme Award in 2000; it was directed by Dennis Gansel. Beginning in 2008, Wisnewski published the annual review series “verheimlicht – vertuscht – vergessen.” His other books include “ungeklärt – unheimlich – unfassbar,” “Die Wahrheit über das Attentat auf Charlie Hebdo,” “Lügen im Weltraum,” and “Das Titanic-Attentat.”
