Gerda Dendooven is a Belgian illustrator. She studied graphic design in Ghent. She has been nominated several times for the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award and has received numerous prizes. Her illustrations often combine archetypal figures with absurd humor, including in the book “Nothing” (“Nichts”).
