George Washington

George Washington (1732–1799) was an American statesman and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He presided over the Constitutional Convention and was sworn in as the first president of the United States in 1789, serving until 1797. Washington died at Mount Vernon in 1799. Alongside his political career, he was involved in whiskey production and owned a distillery.
