Georg Klein

Georg Klein, born in Augsburg in 1953, is a German author. His novels include «Libidissi», «Barbar Rosa», «Die Sonne scheint uns», «Sünde Güte Blitz», «Die Zukunft des Mars», «Miakro» and «Roman unserer Kindheit». He also published the story collections «Anrufung des Blinden Fisches», «Die Logik der Süße» and «Von den Deutschen». In 2000, he received the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize for an excerpt from «Barbar Rosa». His other honors include the Lower Saxony State Prize, the Brothers Grimm Prize and the 2010 Leipzig Book Fair Prize for «Roman unserer Kindheit».
