Gennaro Contaldo

Gennaro Contaldo grew up on the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy and began working in local restaurants at the age of eight. At 20, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he became known as a chef, cookbook author and television chef. He is also described as a mentor to Jamie Oliver and Tim Mälzer. His cookbooks published by ars vivendi include »Passione«, »Pronto!«, »Pasta Mia«, »Pizza, Pane, Panettone«, »Limoni« and »Cucina povera«, as well as »Verdure«.
