Gayle Tufts, born in 1960 in Brockton, Massachusetts, is an American stage performer and author. She has worked in Germany since 1991 and developed more than 25 stage shows. She has also appeared on radio and television. In 2018, she received the Media Award of the Steuben-Schurz-Gesellschaft e.V. for her contributions to German-American friendship. Her published books include *Weihnacht at Tiffany’s*, *Some like it heiß*, and *American Woman*.
