Gary Stevenson

Gary Stevenson grew up in Ilford, East London. His aptitude for mathematics earned him a scholarship to the London School of Economics. After winning a Citi Group competition, he obtained an internship on the trading floor and went on to work as a trader in the banking sector. He later left the financial industry, having become critical of its contribution to rising poverty.
