Galia Zinko

Galia Zinko is a Ukrainian illustrator. She studied at the Art Academy in Kharkiv and illustrated numerous children’s books, including fairy tales. For these, she developed distinctive visual worlds and sometimes incorporated biographical details about the respective authors, for example in illustrations for Alice in Wonderland and Thumbelina. Her work combines linocut, watercolour and details added digitally. As a child, she made small books from school notebooks with others and filled them with drawings as illustrations.
