Gabriele Rittig

Gabriele Rittig was born in Vienna in 1971. In 1996, she took over the management of the English picture agency Pictor in Vienna. That same year, she began writing a story for her two older daughters. What started as a private project developed into a writing career, which became her main profession. Rittig primarily writes books for children and young readers. Her series include “Anziehende Geschichten,” “Mission Zeitreise,” and “Mythania”; she has also contributed books to the Austrian early-reader series “Lesezug”.
