Gabriele Klein

Gabriele Klein is a local historian and genealogist. Since 1996, she has published works on the history of her home region and has authored several books on local history, including “Nicht König, nicht Bettelmann,” “Lila Langen – Frauengeschichte(n)” (vols. 1 and 2), “Vergessene Nachbarn – Juden in Langen von 1704–1938,” and “Jüdischer Friedhof Langen.” In 2013, she received the Culture Prize of the City of Langen for her work. “Nicht König, nicht Bettelmann” focuses on her grandfather, the master wagon maker Wilhelm David Pfaff.
