Gabriela Wiener

Gabriela Wiener, born in Lima in 1975, is a Peruvian writer and journalist. Her works include the memoir »Nueve lunas«, about pregnancy, and the essay collection »Sexografías«, about contemporary sexual culture. She received Peru’s National Journalism Award for a report on violence against women. Her autobiographical novel »Unentdeckt« was longlisted for the 2024 International Booker Prize and has been translated into eight languages.
