Gabby Dawnay

Gabby Dawnay is a children’s author, screenwriter and occasional illustrator. Her publications include books for Tate and Thames & Hudson; her bestseller “If I Had a…” has been translated into more than 20 languages. Dawnay also wrote regularly for OKIDO magazine and scripted programmes for children’s television. Earlier in her career, she directed a contemporary art gallery and led art, reading and poetry workshops in schools.
