Friederike Wapler

Friederike Wapler, born in 1971, studied law in Göttingen and Granada. After completing her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Braunschweig, she served as managing director of the German Association for Youth Courts and Youth Court Assistance in Hanover. From 2003 to 2013, she was a research associate at the Chair of Legal and Social Philosophy in the Faculty of Law at the University of Göttingen, where she earned her doctorate in 2007 and completed her habilitation in 2013. Her academic career included a deputy professorship in public law at the University of Bayreuth and professorships in legal philosophy and public law, including at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
