Fredrik Backman

Fredrik Backman is a Swedish writer. He became known for his debut novel, *A Man Called Ove*, which became an international success. The film adaptation starring Rolf Lassgård received two Oscar nominations, and a remake starring Tom Hanks was also produced. Backman’s subsequent novels reached bestseller lists in several countries. His work has been translated into 46 languages and extensively adapted for film. More than 20 million copies of his books have been sold.
