Frauke Scheunemann

Frauke Scheunemann, born in Düsseldorf in 1969, holds a doctorate in law. After completing a traineeship at the public broadcaster NDR, she worked as a journalist and press officer before becoming a freelance author in 2002. She has written novels for adults and children, including the Dackelblick novels and the internationally successful crime stories featuring the cat Winston. Several of her books have appeared on bestseller lists.
