Frauke Besteman

Frauke Besteman was born in Bonn in 1980, the second child of a Dutch mother and a German father, and grew up in a small village in North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2015, she self-published her first novel under a pseudonym. Her first German-language novella followed in September 2016. Her novels were initially published mainly in English; she later also published for the German market.
