Franziska Schutzbach

Franziska Schutzbach (b. 1978) is a Swiss sociologist, gender researcher and author. She has taught at universities in Switzerland and Germany and completed her doctorate on the politics of generativity, reproductive health, population and gender, focusing on the World Health Organization. Her research interests include reproductive rights, misogyny, sexism, anti-feminism and the communication strategies of right-wing populists. Her publications include *Die Rhetorik der Rechten. Rechtspopulistische Diskursstrategien im Überblick* and, together with Fork Burke and Myriam Diarra, *Die Geschichte Schwarzer Frauen in Biel*. In 2017, Schutzbach initiated #SchweizerAufschrei, a Swiss feminist protest campaign.
