Franz Schlosser

Franz Schlosser, born in 1946 in Waldsee in the Palatinate, studied English and Romance languages at Heidelberg University. From 1972 onward, he taught English, French, Italian and Latin at secondary schools in Idar-Oberstein and Schifferstadt, retiring in 2010. He published articles in specialist journals devoted to English, French and Latin, as well as several works in Palatine dialect. These include “Hopp, sing mit! Kinnerlieder uff Pälzisch,” a collection of children’s songs.
