Frank Spilker

Frank Spilker, born in 1966 in Herford, East Westphalia, is a singer, musician, lyricist and novelist. In the mid-1980s, he released his first songs through Fast Weltweit, a label and artists’ collective he helped initiate. In 1987, he founded the band Die Sterne, which became one of the defining acts associated with the so-called Hamburg School. Alongside his musical work, Spilker has worked as an author, columnist and radio-play producer. He is a co-founder of PEN Berlin. With Die Sterne, he released albums including »Hallo Euphoria«.
