Frank Maria Reifenberg

Frank Maria Reifenberg (born 1962) is a trained bookseller and an author of children’s and young adult books, as well as screenplays for film and television. He began writing screenplays in 1999 and has published more than 50 novels since 2003, with publishers including Thienemann, Rowohlt, Ravensburger, dtv, and arsEdition. His books have been translated into numerous languages. Reifenberg has received the Leipzig Reading Compass several times and was nominated for the German-French Children’s Book Prize and the Catholic Children’s Book Prize. A particular focus of his work is promoting reading among boys.
