Frank Kunert (born 1963 in Frankfurt am Main) trained as a photographer from 1984 to 1987. After several years as an assistant in various photographic studios, he became a self-employed photographer in 1992. His photobook Verkehrte Welt, published by Hatje Cantz, received the German Photobook Prize in Silver in 2009.
