Born in 1974, Frank Esser completed vocational training as an industrial clerk after graduating from secondary school and subsequently worked in the media industry. His enthusiasm for crime fiction led him to writing. His 2017 debut novel, “Der Racheengel – Ein Aachen-Krimi,” launched his Aachen crime series; “Sündenrächer” is the second volume. Esser has also published other crime novels and thrillers.
