Francoise Giroud

Françoise Giroud (1916–2003) was a French journalist and writer. She served as editor-in-chief of the magazine Elle and co-founded the French news magazine L’Express with Jean-Jacques Servan-Schreiber. Giroud wrote around thirty books, including biographies of Jenny Marx, Cosima Wagner, and Alma Mahler, many of which were translated into other languages.
