Author · 1 book
Franco Tanel began his professional career as a photographer in 1979 and co-founded the D-Day photo gallery. He worked in photojournalism and reportage, including for the specialist magazine TuttoTreno. His interest in the history and technology of transport led him to build an extensive photographic archive of the world’s latest steam locomotives. Many of his photographs were published in magazines, books and encyclopedias. From 2000, Tanel worked with the Italian publishing group Sole 24 Ore, writing about transport, logistics and construction.
