Franco Supino

Franco Supino was born in Solothurn in 1965 and grew up bilingual as the child of Italian parents. He studied German and Romance languages and literature at the universities of Zurich and Florence. His debut novel, Musica Leggera, was published in 1995. He subsequently published further novels as well as children’s and young-adult books, audiobooks, features, radio narratives and radio plays. His children’s book Mino und die Kinderräuber was nominated for the 2021 Prix Chronos. Supino worked as a lecturer at the University of Teacher Education Northwestern Switzerland.
