Francis Manapul is a Filipino comic-book artist and writer who was born in the Philippines. His early work included „Witchblade“ and „Tomb Raider“. For DC Comics, he drew titles including „Legion of Super-Heroes“, „Batman/Superman“, „Adventure Comics“, „Brightest Day: The Flash“ and „Justice League“. Beginning in 2011, he developed the „Flash“ saga in the new DC Universe with Brian Buccellato. He also worked as writer and artist on „Trinity“ and contributed to „Detective Comics“, „Justice League: No Justice“ and „Clear“. His work earned him a Joe Shuster Award.
