Francesca Matteoni

Francesca Matteoni is an author, historian and poet. She earned a doctorate in England and conducted research in modern history, particularly on witch trials, the magic of the body and medical folklore. She also taught the history of religion and the anthropology of magic and witchcraft at several American universities in Florence, and led workshops on tarot cards, fables and poetry.
