Murray Fletcher Pratt (1897–1956) was an American writer and translator. He was known primarily for his historical works and also wrote fantasy and science-fiction novels. Together with Lyon Sprague de Camp, he created the Harold Shea stories. Pratt also published under the pseudonyms George W. Fletcher and Irwin Lester.
