Fiona Jeffries

Fiona Jeffries, born in Vancouver in 1968, is a communications scholar with a doctorate, as well as an author, lecturer, and activist. Her work and research focus on nonviolence, the right to the city, and global social justice. She has also been involved in alternative media projects. She taught in the human rights promotion program at Carleton University in Canada and was a visiting scholar at Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Policy Studies on Culture and Communities.
