Fergus Fleming

Fergus Fleming was born in 1959. He studied at the University of Oxford and City University in London. He subsequently worked as a carpenter and spent six years as an editor at Time-Life Books before becoming a freelance writer in 1991. His books on expeditions and exploration include *Barrow’s Boys*, *Nach oben*, *Neunzig Grad Nord* and *Trikolore über der Sahara*. He also wrote books for children.
