Felix Scheinberger

Felix Scheinberger was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1969 and studied illustration at the University of Applied Sciences for Design in Hamburg. Before beginning his studies, he played drums in punk bands until the age of 22. He subsequently worked as a freelance illustrator and illustrated numerous books. He also contributed regularly to newspapers and magazines and wrote instructional books on drawing and illustration. He taught in Mainz, Wiesbaden, Hamburg, Pilsen and Jerusalem, among other places, and was a professor of drawing and illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences. From 2010 to 2012, he served as vice president of Illustratoren Organisation, the professional association of German-speaking illustrators.
