Felix Christen

Felix Christen (born 1977) is a scholar of modern German literature. From 2014 to 2016, he held a fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and in 2020 he was a Fellow in Residence at the Friedrich Nietzsche College. His publications include “Das Jetzt der Lektüre. Zur Edition und Deutung von Friedrich Hölderlins Ister-Entwürfen” (2013), as well as “Schrift und Zeit in Franz Kafkas Oktavheften” and “Der Witz der Philologie. Rhetorik – Poetik – Edition,” which he co-edited. Before pursuing literary studies, he studied geography and history in the early stages of his studies and trained as a publishing clerk.
