Familie Linke-Brensing

Katrin and Karsten Brensing, who publish together as Familie Linke-Brensing, studied marine biology at the University of Kiel. They both conducted research on dolphins in Florida and Israel. Katrin also studied science journalism in Berlin and worked for 15 years on educational programs for ARD, Arte and ZDF. Karsten earned a doctorate on dolphin behavior and subsequently worked for an international whale and dolphin conservation organization. Their books for adults and children have appeared on the Spiegel bestseller list and received several awards. The couple has two sons.
