Falko Hennig was born in Berlin in 1969. Before working as a journalist and writer, he held various jobs, including typesetter, taxi driver and construction worker. His writing has appeared in taz, Titanic, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Berliner Zeitung. In 1996, he founded the Charles Bukowski Society and, from 1995, was a member of Berlin’s Reformbühne Heim & Welt literary group.
