Fabian Soethof

Fabian Soethof was born on the Lower Rhine in 1981. He studied in Duisburg and Berlin, graduating in cultural management and cultural journalism. He worked as a journalist, author and columnist, writing for publications including ZEIT Online, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, ELTERN and Men’s Health DAD. From 2013 to 2023, he headed the online editorial department of Musikexpress. From 2014 onward, he ran the blog newkidandtheblog.de, becoming one of the early fathers in Germany to write about parenthood online. His first book, “Väter können das auch!”, was published in March 2022.
