Eva Karl Faltermeier

Eva Karl Faltermeier, born in Regensburg in 1983, is a trained journalist and cabaret artist. From the age of 19, she worked for various newspapers and Bayerischer Rundfunk. Her short stories, satirical pieces, and columns explore the offbeat, humorous, and cantankerous sides of life. Her debut cabaret program, “Es geht dahi,” received several awards in 2021, including the Senkrechtstarter Prize of the Bavarian Cabaret Prize, the Prix Pantheon Jury Prize, and the Thuringian and Solingen Cabaret Prizes. She also received the Cultural Prize of the Upper Palatinate and other cabaret awards.
